“We just stayed at Villagio Musca in Tamarindo for the past week, and it was hands down the best Airbnb experience we’ve ever had. The home is absolute luxury and exceeded everything described in the listing. It’s incredibly spacious, built into the mountainside, and each room feels like its own private suite-several even have private pools right outside the doors. From the beach, people would literally point up and take photos of the house because of how grand it looks, which made staying there even cooler.
We saw a prior review mentioning driveway issues, but we had zero problems. It’s steep since you’re on a mountain, but our 12-person van and all Ubers made it Up.
The staff was amazing—daily housekeeping, a groundskeeper on site, and Josef, who helped coordinate massages, boats, chefs, and more. We truly never had to lift a finger. The location is also perfect— minutes from the beach, bars, and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back.”
Absolutely perfect stay. Pictures of the home and view don't do it justice. If you're looking for a five-star experience with super responsive concierge and luxury at the highest level then this is the place for you. We stayed there 10 days and never got bored. We went with our mothers and older teenage kids and everyone left with memories for a lifetime.
Not sure where to start. The home is just beautiful. So much privacy for our family of 10 that came to visit. We had the best of both worlds- staying at our Airbnb cooking breakfast and looking out at the ocean, taking a dip in the plunge pools, and even having a private chef cook dinner one of our nights. Amazing experience. Watching the sunset each night was surreal from the deck. Daniel was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He helped us secure golf carts, set up excursions (Catamaran sunset cruise which I highly recommend and deep sea fishing which the guys caught sailfish and tuna), arranged drivers and more. We can’t thank him enough for his concierge services. Another family trip we will cherish!
Our stay was fantastic, truly a one of a kind villa. Plenty of space and comfort for our group of 6, and the views were even more breathtaking than the photos can do justice.
Our concierge Daniel was a pleasure to work with, always eager to help with anything we needed. Whether it was arranging onsite massages on the deck, coordinating a night with private chefs in the kitchen (don’t skip this, it’s worth it!), or helping us find niche grocery items, he went above and beyond to make our vacation perfect.
We loved our week here and would love to come back!

Evenings with the private chef and craft cocktails felt like a five-star restaurant at home, and the catamaran day was absolutely unforgettable. All of it was seamlessly brought together by Daniel, who was warm, attentive, and always one step ahead, making every detail feel easy and thoughtfully curated.
This was more than a stay—it was a complete luxury experience. We’re already dreaming about coming back.

This is a truly gorgeous home, nicely appointed, and an architectural wonder. (Three people in our group are builders, and they were completely fascinated by the construction and design.)
We were a party of 10, and the house had plenty of gathering spaces where everyone could comfortably spend time together. Every window and deck offers an incredible view, and the location is conveniently close to town - 5 minutes to Tamarindo. 4 nights wasn't enough to enjoy all it offered!
Previous reviews are accurate about the driveway — some Ubers had no issue, while others were hesitant. There are ramps and stairs throughout the property, which could be challenging for anyone with limited mobility. We enjoyed the exercise!
Overall, an exceptional place to stay. We would 100% stay here again.

Ask for the private chef! Incredible food cooked right in the kitchen and served on the deck with amazing sunset! Can’t beat it and well worth the $.
All in all everything was perfect. Just be prepared for a steep walk up walkway to house and the pools were somewhat cool but may just be time of the year. The house was pretty clean for the most part (you are on the side of a hill in the woods so expect some leaves a such in pools and hot tub).
If you Uber prepare to either be dropped off at bottom of driveway or offer to drive the uber up the driveway hugging the left side until you make it to the turn. Had some uber drivers struggle with that so wound up driving their cars up for them.
Again, the house is literally on the side of a mountain so some challenges but the views mitigate the steepness by far!
